Each of us has experienced the moment when knowledge comes and life changes. We may receive insight as a revelation, or the whisper of a small voice.

It comes in a diagnosis, a betrayal, the death of a loved one. Or, the news may be joyous—“Honey, I’m pregnant!” or “Will you marry me?”—yet life changes still.

With realization comes choice: embrace or hide. Reconciliation is a struggle, a process, a lifelong journey. The work in this exhibition was created with that journey in mind.
